Again, this was fairly straight-forward. I had no real trouble doing this. It was quick. I used the rectangle select tool, added a new layer, selected the temple again, copied the layer, moved it to the top, and put it on top of the background cut out.

This was Fairly straight-forward. The temple easily selected, and I just followed the instructions to select, refine the edges, remove the background, and save.

Temple Stop; 05-22-2012, 8:18 PM; Rexburg Temple Parking Lot; f/5.6; 1/140- Nikon Coolpix S560. I took this photo at sunset in the Rexburg Temple Parking Lot. I had “Temple Stop” in my head and thought it was a good photo op. I tried to get the the stark difference between the sign, mailbox, road, and even the car against the green field in the background. At this point, I wish I would have been just a bit closer, and waited for the car to pass.

Sun-Light; 5-22-2012 8:20 PM; Rexburg Temple; f/9; 1/1250- Nikon COOLPIX S560; I was honestly reminded of the very first seen of the Harry Potter story, how the light was taken from the lamps. I liked that the sun was so low and big and perfectly lined up with the lamp post. I felt the sun was the focal point and tried to position it using the rule of thirds.

Infinite Sprinkler; 05-22-2012 8:30 PM; Farm near Rexburg Temple; f/4.4; 1/80- Nikon COOLPIX S560; I have always wanted to take a picture like this, I waited for the sprinklers to move perpendicular to the road so I could take this shot, and intentionally made the angle so that the central point couldn’t be seen. The lighting was perfect I felt.

Sprinkler Spectrum; 05-22-2012, 8:31 PM; Farm near Rexburg Temple; f/5.6; 1/125- Nikon COOLPIX S560; I’m not particularly proud of the composition of this photo, but I thought the rainbow was well-placed. It seemed a perfect opportunity, since the sprinklers had again moved, and were now refracting light. I probably should have exposed this a little bit longer, its a bit dark, but otherwise, I thought the lighting was good.

Hilltop Sunset; 06-12-2012, 9:05 PM; Rexburg Temple; f/5; 1/250- Nikon COOLPIX S560; This was lucky. The sunset only lasted for about 5 minutes, and this particular lighting was only there for about 30 seconds. I tried to get this in the lower third of the shot, but obviously that didn’t quite work out. The lighting here I thought was great.
